ANNUAL MEETING AND ELECTIONS
The Annual Meeting of the Joliet Columbian Club will be held on Tuesday, July 24, 2012 at 7:00 P.M. At this meeting: the board will report on the financial statement for the fiscal year, consider by-law changes, discuss new business, and elect 3 new members for two year terms to the board of directors.
On Thursday, June 14, 2012 the Council elected new officers for the 2012 - 2013 fraternal year. Congratulations to the following slate of officers: Grand Knight, Louie Mau - Deputy Grand Knight, Dick Foecking - Chancellor, Bill Schmitt - Warden, Bob Kinmonth - Recording Secretary, Jose Vargas - Treasurer, Jim Lawler - Trustee, Bob Kobe - Outside Guard, George Onderak - Inside Guards, Roland Michaud and Rich Baran - Advocate, John Gallo.
WHITE SOX BUS TRIP
On Saturday, August 25, 2012 the council will be going to see the White Sox vs. the Seattle Mariners. The bus will leave our parking lot at 3:30 pm. Tihe cost is $50 per person and includes: game tickets, coach bus, and a 1 hour tailgateing party at U.S. Cellular Field, For tickets, call Louie at 815-545-2089
FAMILY PICNIC
The Annual Family picnic will be held on Sunday, September 16, 2012. Free food, soft drinks and adult beverages will be provided, as well as games for the children and grandchildren of members of council #382.
